I wanted to share a more in depth understanding of the chakra system and it’s interlinking with one’s biofield. This will be part 1, in a series of 8. We will delve further into the major energetic centers of our spiritual form and examine the psychological advancement that concurrently takes place starting from the moment of birth.
To preface, the human biofield interpenetrates the body while expanding beyond the physical form to the surrounding space of one’s being. This space is layered in vibrational patternings, geometrical figures, light, color, sequences, and matrices that contain information related to the health of the individual. Health, in this sense, can be described as the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual welfare of one’s being. It is a symphony of sorts that relies on communication of the full Self.
The human life process involves tiers of interpretation, reaction, manifestation, and reflection of both internal and environmental affairs. There is a high level of communication amongst these modes and pathways of the human form. Physiological changes, thoughts, emotions, memories, and a networking of subjective experiences are tied to and represented in the makeup of this space. Deeply rooted knowledge and realities stemming from this lifetime and other courses of life can also be held here. Conversely, shifts in the energetic field tend to affect physical and psychological wellbeing. The idea is to work with the psyche in conjunction with this web of biological homeodynamics so that a balance may be achieved. The auric field is composed of electric, magnetic, electromagnetic, thermal, and kinetic pulsations, amid other more subtle forces. Often referred to as the universal life force, ‘chi’ can be manipulated where there may be irregularity or blockage in flow. It has been observed for many years that accumulations of distorted energy can bring about tones of dissonance in the body. Similarly, lack of flow can reduce overall functioning of one or more parts of the mind-body-spirit complex. This complex is inclusive of psychological attributes, behaviors, tendencies, habits, personality characteristics, demeanor, mood, cognitive and emotional competency, and general response to stimuli, or situations, within one’s surroundings. Of course one’s physical condition and capabilities will echo the picture that is painted in our existence. Because we are breathing, moving, pulsing embodiments of our soul and it’s current interactive form, we hold significant influence over the scene in which we find ourselves and, subsequently, the greater collective consciousness of which we are a part of.
Most know the chakra system to contain seven energetic segments. While the human form primarily occupies these main divisions, higher, succeeding centers are said to be present beyond the familiar seven zones. These spaces are even more subtle in nature and connect to planes of existence much further displaced from our current reality. Layers of our biofield follow a similar arrangement, and too extend outside the major seven bands. Layers exist within each chakra as well, and may rotate independently of one another. That is to say, a center may have a more dominant clockwise or counterclockwise pull overall, but could be funneling energy from both directions simultaneously. A chakra with a stronger clockwise rotation will often be more open and interactive with the environment. Conversely, a chakra with a more prevalent counterclockwise spin is more internally focused. These revolutions and the structure they take on may regularly change throughout the day. A full-bodied, wide, circular motion signals proper flow while linear or elliptical movements may reveal a disturbance of some kind. The speed of the flux should additionally be considered. A slower drift illustrates a lethargic or depressed center whereas a quicker pace suggests liveliness and greater abundance in activity.
Comparable to the way the mind compiles and assembles information within certain regions of the brain, the chakra system is a grouping of awareness, insight, intelligence, judgment, learning, observation, and wisdom particular to each individual. As we mature biologically, we tend to encounter stages of occurrence relevant to our psychological state at given times throughout our life. Our more ‘primal’ and immediate connections, as well as survival instincts, will often arise first in our development. As we continue to age and cultivate our minds, we reach into deeper states of being and understanding and thus ideally further the maturation of power, strength, discernment, passion, and meaning within ourselves. We climb higher and nurture successive centers and layers of our form as we grow internally and conjointly with others. Keep in mind, experience will register within a certain domain based on how we are biasedly viewing our reality. So although each of these centers gravitates towards common concepts amongst people, individuals will house their knowledge and interpretation of affairs in a very personal manner. We are often consistent in where we carry our varying degrees of ‘stress’. Physical symptoms that arise can be indicative as to how we are processing, or not adequately dealing with, everyday phenomenon.
